This is a modified version of Ruler Traits

The modification brings Ruler Traits back to its roots by smoothing out some of the potent and harsh effects of ruler traits and education in the mod. Modifiers are reduced so that they have a much less significant impact on gameplay. Ruler traits and education now add flavor and make small changes to a nation instead of having a large impact on gameplay.

Overall it takes the great concepts of Ruler Traits and mellows them out so that they flow more evenly into gameplay.
Rulers still get birth traits and two life traits and you can still determine the education of your heirs.


Ruler Education:
Bonuses from Adm, Dip and Mil changed to -.02 in the chosen category only for level 1
Bonuses from Adm, Dip and Mil changed to -.04 in the chosen category only for level 2
Bonuses from Adm, Dip and Mil changed to -.06 in the chosen category only for level 3
Chosen bonuses for all categories changed to -.05
All other bonuses not associated with a modifier are removed

Ruler Traits and Life Traits:
Each ruler can only acquire 2 life traits

Triggered Modifiers:
All are removed

Opinion Modifiers:
Values shifted to -15, -10, -5, 5, 10, 15 from original values

The modification updates the localization files for 1.17

Compatible with most mods that do not radically alter game mechanics or add very similar content.
This mod requires no DLC but can be used with all DLC

Mod is localized for English, German and Russian
