Description
This mod replaces the the current Corvette ship to a Galley.

A galley is a type of ship that is propelled mainly by rowing. The galley is characterized by its long, slender hull, shallow draft and low clearance between sea and railing. Virtually all types of galleys had sails that could be used in favorable winds, but human strength was always the primary method of propulsion. Galleys were the warships used by the early Mediterranean naval powers, including the Greeks, Phoenicians and Romans. They remained the dominant types of vessels used for war and piracy in the Mediterranean Sea until the last decades of the 16th century. As warships, galleys carried various types of weapons throughout their long existence, including rams, catapults and cannons, but also relied on their large crews to overpower enemy vessels in boarding actions. They were the first ships to effectively use heavy cannons as anti-ship weapons. As highly efficient gun platforms they forced changes in the design of medieval seaside fortresses as well as refinement of sailing warships.

If you want to keep your normal windward username (for multiplayer aswell) instead an username only for mods or keep the Corvette instead of replacing it, you can add the Galley as a new ship.
Just follow the steps below:

1.Copy the Corvette.bytes file In Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content. Then make a new folder in "My Documents/Windward" folder and call it Ships, put the Corvette.bytes in there, rename it to Galley.bytes and put a txt file in the Ships folder as well with the text from here http://textuploader.com/5elqr . (copy it) and name it Galley.txt .


2. After that you start the game, unable mod Galley (if you don't have any mods selected it will still work in vanilla), open your server, typ: /upload Ships/Galley.bytes and then typ /set Ships/Galley.txt.
If you followed these steps it would keep both ships in-game. I couldn't make a mod that just does this straight away. Please send me a comment with any questions or if you have a server with the ship installed because I like playing online.

No, I only know how to create 3D models and put them as new ships in the game.

Can you create a mod to buy several boats in the city and thus be able to kill all the boats in the difficult maps?

I'm not overly familiar with the ship scripts themselves - I've tinkered with the mod pack, but it's not my forte. Glad you've found the issue - I'll do some testing today and be glad to get these 3 back into the game!

For the people that already placed this ship on their servers as a new ship. I updated the mod so that there won't be any errors while getting hit by AOE attacks(problem was that it was searching for a map that did nothing...) . Therefore you have to follow the steps to add the ship to the world again. The people that use the mod to replace the corvette don't have to do anything since it automatically updates for those people.
