Condor's Improved Roman Forces

Description

v0.9.10 has been released, and is only a small set of changes.
I am trying to get an alternate model for the "Praetorian Guard" to work, but have been having some difficulties. I will let you all know how that works out.

v0.9.10
  • Gave units "Praetorians" and "Praetorian Guard" an extra pilum each, for a total of three per man.
  • Increased recruitment and upkeep costs for the "Eagle Cohort" to reflect the extra troops granted by the mod.
  • Set campaign unit cap for 'Eagle Cohort' to '15' to ensure that their is only one per legion.

Thank you everone for all of the support!
When I posted this last week I never expected it to get the amount of attention that it has. However, I can't keep doing this without you guys. If you have ANY ideas/comments/suggestions/issues, hit me up in the comments! There is no other way for me to find out what you all want to see done, so help me make this into a great experience for you guys! If you have a question about compatibility, don't hesitate to ask. Make sure to include the mod name and creator so that I can find the correct one. In order for me to make this mod better, I need to know what you all want in the mod.

The next changes that I am considering include:
  • Improving the campaign AI to some extent to make it more enjoyable (i.e. making gifts more valuable in negotiation, making other factions more aggressive -OR- docile, etc.)
  • Increasing campaign movement range, either just for Rome or for ALL factions (It will not be as drastic if just for Rome)
Let me know which one you'd like to see first, or if there's something else that you had in mind!

This mod is currently a work in progress, so if you find any problems with it, please please please make me aware and I will try and fix them as soon as possible. There will likely be near-daily updates for the first week or two, possibly more than one per day, but the number will decrease after that. (Although the content changes will hopefully be greater)

--Also subscribe to "Normal's Rome II Units Icons mod v2.3" (e) uploaded by Karl Kori and made by TWC's Normal, his unit cards are awesome, artistically made to a high standard, stacks are much better looking than with CA's original cards.--

Special thanks to Edward Soares for the absolutely awesome cover images and for his support!

@Nabs hey man, I'm sorry I didn't see this until now. If you can, give me a week and then try this out again. I'd fix it now, but I'm on a random laptop at Walmart.

Could you get the changelog for 0.9.10 out? That would be nice :)

I figure that it's only fair to let you all know, I'm ADHD as shit, and as a result, I don't maintain this as regularly as I should. However, every once in awhile I will suddenly gaain immense interest in this mod, and will release a few updates, and if someone asks for something specific (and attainable) I will more than likely be willing to introduce it.

Drwdae, Unfortunately due to the nature of the mod, it is not compatible with Divide et Impera.

Ataxius, I believe that it would be, but I have not tried. As long as it doesn't make changes to the other Roman units, it probably is. The only thing that I wouldn't expect to work properly is the lvl V building (you probably won't be able to recruit archers from it)
