Masterful Armor

Description
Legacy mod, WotC compatible

Masterful Armor allows you to upgrade all existing armors.
The stats are a bit increased and fit well into the game.

Developed for XCOM2 Legacy!
If used with WotC, the faction soldiers can't use the upgraded armors.

Complete reworked!

Now includes the Alien Hunter DLC armors.

All armors out of the Proving Ground (Serpent, Icarus and Rage) can be build permanently, after the specific research is finished.

All experimental vests (Hazmat, Plate and Stasis) too, once a single experimental vest is created.

Nothing of that changes the Proving Ground, it stays untouched.

Customization:
(Steam installation folder\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\731151522\Config\XComMasterfulArmor.ini)

The armors are to cheap or expensive?

- change the costs to whatever you want
- remove the need of base items or corpses

The armor stats are not suitable for your playstyle?

- add or remove to any armor: hp, armor, mobility, dodge, shieldeffect, hp-regeneration

You don't like some of the armors or want the proving ground armors and vests to stay like before?

- block them from ever appearing

Visual Customization:

Uses all Vanilla X-Com, Anarchys Children DLC and Alien Hunter DLC's Bodyparts for the upgraded armors.

There are so much customization mods out there, i can't add them all ;)
Feel free to add your favorites (Steam installation folder\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\731151522\Config\XComContent.ini)

Known issues:

When switching from a suit or armor with a helmet to the RAGE suit/RAGE armor, the helmet of the previous armor will be displayed the first time you put it on.
Simply remove or replace the headgear when customizing.

thanks for ur reply. yeah maybe there is some issue with other mods. i have some strange bugs anyways nobody can really help to fix it so need to live with them ^^.i didnt changed anything. mostly i take mods unchanged how they r except if creator its necessary to change or add things so it works. i use clone ruler mod now. so i have to work for the armors now ^^.

When you receive armor, it's still at the normal level.
You can then upgrade it in the workshop.
This requires, among other things, the standard armor.
If this doesn't work for you, there's an incompatibility with another mod.

And they're not troop upgrades, you have to equip the vests after crafting them ;)

Or have you already blocked the mod variants in the ini?
You can try restoring the ini by unsubscribe from the mod and then re-downloading it.

Are there any other armor altering mods in use?

not working. even after restart the game with a new campaign.

I would say its a conflict with another mod that you are using, not a bug in this one.

If you use a mod that alters the vanilla armors in any way or the functionality of the proving ground, it's probably not going to work.

"Complete reworked!"

It's worse than I thought is was.

There's an issue with the mod: I've noticed when some of the operatives are wearing it, sometimes all you see is the head and weapon. Attempts to correct is extremely limited.

"Something to note for everyone subscribing to this: the armour customizations for cosmetics will ONLY feature vanilla customization options; NONE of your mod and dlc downloads. That means if you have squadmate mods or custom costume subscriptions, they will not be available. I still use this for the experimental vests, but the high cost of upgrading, plus the lack of customization options leaves me honestly forgoing the higher stat armours just because I want my squadmates to look a certain way. hopefully this is something worked out in the future, because I really like this mod personally and gives an even higher value to your elerium cores."

Now this was really helpful.

I'm sorry. You're trying to say what?
