You can then upgrade it in the workshop.
This requires, among other things, the standard armor.
If this doesn't work for you, there's an incompatibility with another mod.
And they're not troop upgrades, you have to equip the vests after crafting them ;)
Or have you already blocked the mod variants in the ini?
You can try restoring the ini by unsubscribe from the mod and then re-downloading it.
If you use a mod that alters the vanilla armors in any way or the functionality of the proving ground, it's probably not going to work.
It's worse than I thought is was.
There's an issue with the mod: I've noticed when some of the operatives are wearing it, sometimes all you see is the head and weapon. Attempts to correct is extremely limited.
Now this was really helpful.
Or it's compatible ?
Thx for your work
Serpent Suit [Requires E.X.O suit]: +1 armor & heavy weapon
R.A.G.E. Armor [Requires Masterful E.X.O suit]: +2 armor, heavy weapon
Serpent Armor [Requires W.A.R suit]: +3 armor, experimental heavy weapon
Icarus Armor [Requires Masterful W.A.R. suit]: +3 armor, +30 dodge, experimental heavy weapon
iirc Long War replaces every armor, so it doesn't modify anything in use.
At the moment i have to work a lot, so i can't take a look whats wrong.
Next month i will take a look why you can't change the bodyparts.
There are no plans so far for an Alien Hunter DLC expansion, but maybe i will start something like that in the future ;)
Unfortunately I have an issue. With the masterful armours I'm not able to change the torso, legs and arms looks. Only the original versions are avaliable for me. I didin't start a new campaign, is there a chance that this causes that?
And a last question. Will you expand this mod with the Alien Hunters armours?
In addition you have to edit the localization file to show your edits correct in all tooltips
Just wondering what DLC is needed for this mod?
Thanks,
TheAshenHat
It is possible to make each an upgrade, just have to know if this is what everyone wanted!
@Slayer0fKings
Grimys Loot Mod changes some settings in X2Item_DefaultSchematics.ini, so it can be that the "base" version of some armors are different.
But my new versions are just requires the same research like the vanilla ones. Because everything else is new, i THINK(!) that these two mods are compatible.
Just load a savegame, take a look, and if it doesn't work, deactivate my mod and PLEASE write a new comment. :)
@FERnKmaster
Advanced Materials and Ballistics adds only NEW items and options to the game, so they should be no problem.
BTW,
First - you don't need original armor to build this masterful version, and it's instant without spending precious time in proving ground, so combined with sweet bonuses it's became very unbalanced. Maybe set original armor as an configurable requirement?
And second - you can't customise it with all beautiful modded props, which makes character customisation limited and customisation mods unusable. It may be still possible to customise it with uniform manager but that one has it's own set of problems.
Anyway, good idea and good mod.
