Hello RAVAGE Fans!



Today I present you my personal vision of surviving the Zombie Apocalypse using the perfect framework, RAVAGE, and the perfect map, Esseker.

What to expect from RAVAGE TOURISM ESSEKER?



11 different random start locations in SP and a spread out start for the survivor team in MP- some are better, some are worse in the sense that you spawn far away from the AI teammates in SP or far away from your buddies in MP.



Random gear in MP for all but one player slot who is designed to be the SP hero of this adventure and who is a die-hard prepper



Music that is part of the missions design and will be heard during the course of the mission in key locations.



An open world with a lot more to discover than just an escape vehicle, if you so choose... Just read the Briefing and hints carefully!



Epic fights against bandits and zombies while constantly struggling to keep your needs satisfied in a world more than one year after the apocalypse - that means ultra-rare loot (the challenge becomes even bigger the more people you are in coop - then you need in the worst case 11 times the amount of food and drink than in SP) and a total of just two driveable vehicles availble "for free" on the entire map besides the escape vehicles - and you must walk there first...



Carefully crafted locations which are there to provide specific loot in logical locations or which were created to help in building immersion and some more storyline



Additional food sources in the form of rogue farm animals that live and thrive in the more rural areas of the map - but you must find them first since they are set to wander, not to stay put!



Random spawns for the escape vehicles: if you are lucky, they are close to a place where you can find fuel and repair equipment for them, if your unlucky, well, hit the road and look for your loot!

MagRepack since I don't need ACE for just this one feature...
The LOW Mine Detector system to get safely through the Minefields around the Military camps... IF you decide to turn those cheap-ass red triangles off, that is. I don't force that at you.

The compatibility PBO for Warefarethai and RHS that is availble, although outdated, will still make some Magazines interchangeable.

you don't need to have @ALiVE Server nowadays - it was necessary for playing ón a MP Dedicated Server via WarRoom when I made the mission, but meanwhile the mission is using local saving which doesn't require to have @AliveServer loaded.

BUT: Since the Battlebus DOES ACTUALLY APPEAR AS QUEST TARGET in the mission, it won't let u choose roles if you don't load that mod.

trying to get this scenario to work. when I go to start the server there are no rolls to select. I have all the mods installed except for battle bus it just wouldn't show up in my list and I could not get a copy of a alive server. when I click the link provided on your Workshop page it just took me to the regular Alive mod which I already have installed.

Just finished this doing both endings. Things were good and definitely way better than previously. Had some good fights. I think the only thing that was a let down were the two endings. The one with the bus implied I was going to smash through the bandit checkpoint only to find out that the bus can't smash through it. It just stops dead. So then I went and got the chopper and the mission ended the moment I loaded a recruit into it. I was hoping to be flying over the southern hills but it just ended there. Otherwise all good, thanks.

Hi, yes other missions work with loading from previous saves, as does your Homini one I was trying the other day. I'm playing in MP so that I can see the marks on the map. I don't really change anything in Arma settings other than graphics, but I'll have a look for a save setting now. Just about to go back in. Teh missions seems to be playing ok and I'm just copying my saves folder out and restoring prior saves as continues if I need to go back a save. Seems to work ok so I'm happy to continue like this. At least it's a playable game now. You can see all of this on my stream that I mentioned in the comments on your other mod.

That is quite weird; sounds more like you have set your general difficulty settings in ARMA so that you can't create multiple saves. Can you save and reload other missions than this one via the menu?

I've managed to get things going and playable by just not using the menu when I die. There's no option to reload or load previous saves, but if I kill the game through Windows then I can resume from the last save.

generally speaking you'll have to copy the mission .pbo from the SWS downloading folder and put the copy in your "missions" folder in A3 manually if you want to play it as SP scenario.

FYI it's one of those crazy high number folders within your Steam folder; on my computer the looks like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\16420984\107410\remote

There all SWS missions get downloaded to.

The map markers will be invisible in SP just like in the other mission, sorry for now...

The comments below imply that this works in SP. I've loaded it all up but it doesn't show on the Scanerios list. I already tried this in MP last week and it had too many saving issues so I'm keen to try SP if that resolves it (unless it also removes all the missions marks from the maps like in the other game)

hmm, that's weird cuz I also tested in SP and got swarmed on some locations. What version of RAVAGE mod u use?
