Ah, alrighty! I'll look into that if I get around to a different mesh variant, and if I change this one I'll put it in the description. I'm thinking I might do an all plate and a standardized (beef up crossbowmen and spearmen too), if I have time. I'd like to say it was an artistic choice to give the Spearmen a captain with a shield, but it was really that I didn't want to make a seventh table for the officers. I also figured that the captain would be more visible with a shield, even if it doesn't technically deflect arrows for that entity. I'll give a heads-up if I do make new variations

Sure thing! It took me a few hours and a couple of completely failed attempts to figure it out. I've sent a request and I'll check in periodically to give the low-down. I'm not able to get online right now since I'm on vacation, just using my iPad and the Steam website
I understand and I won't request you to change the mod just for me. What I meant was, since the regular spearmen don't have a shield, it's a bit odd that their captain has it. But it looks awesome anyway. So if my suggestion doesn't fit your taste, you can just leave it as it is. No problem ^^ Thanks for the response.
Thank you for the kind words!
I'm afraid making a different captain just for one person is a bit more of a process than I want to do, and I'm on vacation. The most tedious aspect of the mod is going through all of the tables needed to make the game recognize a different variantmesh, which is what this would involve. I'd gladly walk you through the process, however, if you wanted to make one for yourself (and then you'd be able to customize the entire mod to your tastes!)
