Hey there, this is my first attempt at a mod for any game so bare with me. Also on another note this mod is simply for a bit of fun, so please be considerate.

Anyway, I was playing Rome 2 and was becoming frustrated at the chapter objectives that require x amount of units, as I felt they vastly hindered my imagination on how large Rome's Legions were.

At the height of the Empire, Rome had something like 50 Legions, including the Auxiliary Legions that had around a half as many men as a full Legion. They had garrisons in towns and cities, guards to look after grain stores, troops held at strategic locations for months or even years at a time and much more. Rome had tens of thousands of troops in forces of various sizes, not a few thousand troops in a few Legions to do all the work.

So you can see that 60 units is nonsense to ---> 120 at a later objective. 60 units is equivalent to 3 full stacks of 20 units (hardly enough to expand and control your territory.) Vanilla only allows a maximum number of Armies and that number is a dismal 16!

This mod however changes the number of Armies, fleet's, agents, dignitaries, champions and edicts which can be raised or enacted at each imperium level. This allows you to raise a vast array of forces to pin down public order, defend your conquests overseas whilst ever expanding.

The new levels ascend in multiples of 8 and 4 respectively;

Imperium I; 8 Armies 4 Fleets 4 Agents, Dignitaries, Champions and Edicts.
Imperium II; 16 Armies 8 Fleets 8 Agents, Dignitaries, Champions and Edicts.

....All the way to Imperium VIII....

Imperium VIII; 1,024 Armies 64 Fleets 64 Agents, Dignitaries, Champions and Edicts.


Now you can send off a Legion along with its Auxiliary Legion to capture and conqueror whilst you bring up a second to hold it, raise an Auxiliary then rinse and repeat. All whilst having a sufficient wall of defense to the rear creating a tough Ferrata (ironclad) Empire.

Note + this does not change the amount of units required to achieve objectives only Imperium level values.
Note ++ 1024 Legions is insane (yes I know!) although it just lifts that cap. Now you can create 50 Legions with a back up of 50 Auxiliary Legions, plus build upon garrisons having a stack of x amount stationed in a town atop the garrison already stationed there. Plus sufficient Fleets and Auxiliary Fleets.

if you're still making mods, can you make one that changes imperium to only have diplomacy and corruption penalties instead of what it has by default?

can you make a ver less op? like 100 armies and 20 per agent and 50 edicts?
