Sound Block Mod Maker

Description
Sound Block Mod Maker Test World:

This is a world you can use to test the mods you create using the "Space Engineers SoundBlock Mod Maker".

The "Space Engineers SoundBlock Mod Maker" Is a small program that I created that takes care of all the difficult parts of creating a mod that adds sounds to the SoundBlock. Using this program is as easy as One, Two, Three.

One: enter the name you want your mod to have
Two: drag your .wav and/or .mp3 files into the central list window
Three: Click the create button

It's as easy as that, your new mod has been created and when you load it in a world, your SoundBlock will have the sounds that you created the mod with, each sound with the name of the original sound file.

If you find this program hosted anywhere else then DO NOT download it!

If you are on windows 11 you may run into a problem with a missing MSVCR100.DLL file.
If so then you can download a redistributable package from Microsoft here.

Cheers, and please use responsibly. Remember that it is illegal to publish works that do not belong to you or that you do not have the licence to publish. I recommend only using sounds that you have created or sounds that have the appropriate creative commons license.

@Coren are you planning on making a sound mod maker like this for se2? cause it would come in handy or at least a program that converts se1 sound block mods to se2 sound block format if itss different

Your tool looks great, just has one _minor_ issue. The SoundCategory it generates has a null SubtypeId because SubtypeId is misspelled. you have SubTypeId (capital 't') instead of SubtypeId (lower case 't'). This causes the game to not find it and thus treat it as empty (or "") meaning that if two mods (or files) are loaded that have been generated by the tool only the last to be loaded will work.

this program depends on runtime components for visual studio which are in windows 10 but not windows 11. You can download a redistributable package that will provide the missing .dll from Microsoft here.

When I try to process a sound, I get an error: The Code execution cannot proceed because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this program.
I tried reinstalling but this keeps happening. I am on Windows 11. Any idea how to fix this?

How to loop? I've tried everything and I am stumped.

Yo anyone with future issues like mine: You need to export .wav with 16 bit PCM bit depth. Otherwise it will show up, but not play.

@VividCringe
If you have other mods that add sounds to the sound block then it will not work with the mods that this mod maker creates. I never figured out how to make compatible sound block modifier mods when i made this 8 years ago.

Hi! I followed the instructions, I have my sound mod loaded in my world, but the custom sounds don't show up on my sound block list.

Does this method work alongside other mods? Please I'm just looking to create custom sounds for my fighter jet
