Report a translation problem
Each has an advantage, a demo would be better for a level thats broken by a particular move or trick jump or, while the save is better for portal placement issues and either of them are good for 'i got stuck here' type stuff depending on how complex the puzzle is.
Step 1 - open the console
Step 2 - type in the following command "save <insert unique save file name here>"
Step 3 - do a find files by filename inside your steamapps/common/portal 2 folder for the unique save file name
Step 4 - Save to the internet however you want to save the file.
