Form the Barbaric Kingdoms

This is a mod that allows you to form kingdoms as the Franks, the Ostrogoths, the Suebi, the Vandals, or the Visigoths. This is accomplished by completing a mission which is issued on the second turn. Doing so will allow you to become Romanized, unlocking Roman buildings, and in some cases, Roman or Romano-Barbarian units to recruit. This mod also utilizes units from The Last Roman DLC, although you shouldn't require it in order for the mod to work. To form these kingdoms you will require certain regions, listed below.

NOTE: Units that require The Last Roman DLC are marked with an asterisk (*).

Q: Is this mod compatible with anything?

A: It should be compatible with any startpos (including 8tpy, 12tpy, etc.) or graphical mods, as well as some unit mods.

Q: I don't see the mission! What do I do!?

A: Wait until the 2nd turn.

Q: What factions are planned in the future?

A: The Saxons, Alamans, Burgundians, Langobards, and possibly the Alans.

Q: Why can't I recruit any Roman units or build any Roman buildings?

A: Look at the yellow text.


Known Bugs:

- Selecting the Ostrogoths for the AI in custom battles or trying to autogenerate an army for them crashes the game.
