Description
The Grand Canal is the main arterial route of the Italian city of Venice. It is lined by the history of the city, with buildings and architecture from most time periods of Venice. During the years of the republic, gold-laden merchant ships would sail up the Grand Canal, depositing their gold in the Doge's treasury, situated on the Grand Canal. Ingame, the Grand Canal provides an additional +3 Gold to the city owner from every international trade route with the city, and +2 Gold to the owner of a foreign trade route to the city, while it must be built in a city on a flat coastal tile and requires Compass.

Requires the Brave New World expansion pack, credit to co-author Sukritact for the icon.

When a military ship is stationed in the city you should get plus 1 culture

This wonder seems great for Venice (funnily enough), Morocco or Arabia.

I think you should add a flat gold bonus, since the bonus from market + bank (it's in the files but not in the pedia) is 4, so it ends being less than this wonder. And the East company cost 1/4 of productions and gives also more bonus.

Don't think that it'll be gone, I'll just find another wonder that it works for.

Thank you for updating this mod; though I will miss the extra food and production. So precious few wonders add to the viability of water tiles. *crosses fingers there will be no changes to Nan Madol*

It'll most likely get an overhaul with BNW to focus on the new trade system anyway, so stay tuned there
