Guv here! Serving a requested unit!

Lets face it, the only reason you upgrade your barracks from level 1 to 2 at the start of the campaign is to get your crossbow men. The only cheap ranged unit for the Empire. But with the arrival of free companies, so has new opportunities arrived!

I present to you, Free Company Archers!

My goal here is to make a viable unit for vanilla Warhammer as best as I can. This is kind of a unit which you add depending on your taste. This unit might not be necessary for your campaign as you already have crossbow men. I've made sure so you wouldn't want to take this unit over trained crossbow men. So I'd say this unit is a viable addition to your starting armies. Around 80-90% balanced.


Pro's and Con's:

Pros

+ Recruitable from lvl 1 barracks
+ Guerilla deployment
+ Cheap recruitment(425) and upkeep(105) for a ranged unit
+ Expendable

Cons

- Lacking missile damage
- bad against armour
- lacking health
- low leadership, but not lower than peasant bowmen
