Episode 2 is up! those familiar with hammer will notice a LOT of displacements, this was a learning experience for me teaching myself displacements among other things, as such, i kept the puzzles simple in ep.2. I was originally planning on adding adventure core aka rick to the map but a) space core in the last one was a fair bit of work that i wasnt much in the mood to repeat for adventure core at this time, and b) i decided adding an object that served no purpose what so ever could be confusing to some, especially if they carry the core with them throughout the entire level only to find it useless at the end, and i have as of yet not figured out how to attach a core to any core recepticle let alone make it activate something

I've done my best in ep.2 to ensure theres enough lighting when darkness isnt meant to be part of the overall mood of the area (like falling down an abandoned mineshaft *should* be rather dark)

My thanks to TopHATTwaffle for his youtube tutorials, you made it really easy to learn to hammer, and anyone that wants to learn the hammer editor and sdk, i highly recommend watching those, most every portal2 game element is explained.

Episode 3 is out! tough as some have said,its not very big/long in comparison to my others, the main reason for this is I wanted to get something in the series that will allow me to transition into a more Aperture-ish feel to the levels (dont worry though, future maps will still have their non-Aperture elements) and the arrival and departure elevators come in darn handy for transitioning between levels as opposed to the halflife-esque start-of-next-map-is-exactly-like-end-of-previous style I had been doing, which actually requires special commands to trigger the voting screen of the pti and end the level anyways, the elevators do it for me.

Ok everyone i know I haven't made a map in forever, I've actually started getting into making maps for HL2 & Garry's Mod (moreso of the latter) since none of my portal maps were actually very portal themed I decided (after someone gifted me GMod) that this is a lot more my style, as I can go ahead and add grass and trees and such and it not be out-of-place. I've got a few things uploaded to the workshop already but are private while being tested, if you'd like to try one anyways and have gmod, pm me asking for a link and I'll let you.
