Description
This map picks up pretty much where the last one left off, our hero/heroine returns to earth, lost in a seemingly endless forest, but a noise can be heard up ahead, some sort of whirring/whooshing, and oh look, a clearing.

Revision 3: Loads of little tweaks, updated the 'outdoor' sky with some clouds, tho it seems portal's engine wasnt designed for clouds so i had to use white dustclouds, still looks decent though. Added some more light down in the fan area, also increased the pushing effect for the fan to send you up higher, should be no problem getting up now. Updated the giant grate under the fan to fall on its own regardless of touch, and also set it up so that it *should* land perfectly on the catwalks below every time and not block access to the switch (which i had a couple times during my testing). Added the typical Aperture light lines to the buttons in the chamber, and checkmarks over the door, feels like a real puzzle now :). Also updated the falling ceiling tiles to fall in a more random pattern and look more like they're falling down and not just dropping flat. Oh and i also added a few spotlights to help give cues/clues where to go nex
Rev. 4: Minor update, it would seem that during the compile of rev3 the lights in the chamber got 'lifted' from the walls and floors so, fixed that, also set some of the tiles to break into bit as it seems too many physics objects in one spot causes some insane lag in some cases,not to mention all that clutter was making it hard to get to the buttons for some.

Note: This is a short map that was intended to get back to the standard PTI style maps from the takes-forever-to-make outdoor/nature type stuff, and I then lost interest in mapping for portal2 when Valve's Hammer Editor for portal2 went haywire (steampipe update maybe?) and killed most of what I had been working on so... I started mapping for garry's mod instead. After re-watching Selyp's playthrough videos though I kinda have a craving to make another test chamber.

I liked the whole series but thought the ending should have been a little better.:steamhappy:

yeah sorry I never made part 4 I may crank something out one day that references this series, but the point to this one being short and having the lift at the end was to get you back to Aperture's test chambers so the space theme is pretty much gone at this point anyways so it wouldn't be a "Space Series" chamber. I did have a nice gigantic map made after this, a huge room that rotates and has puzzles on the floor, walls, and ceiling and you had to rotate the room to complete it, but every time I uploaded it and did a test play before setting it public, every prop and texture was missing and I couldnt figure out why, tried making another one from scratch, just a small empty room, and had the same problem with that, so I threw my hands up in the air and deleted everything including the editor.
