Realistic Thrust

Description
This is a total engine performance adjust mod, make them more realistic, and brings more fly control to players. Check the photo for detailed change sheet.

Tips for using this mod:

a. According to the speed, turning should ahead of time, incase heavily drift.
b. During dog-fighting should avoid suddenly turn-around, this would seriously losing speed, become a dead target. Small radius turning should would be a better choice.
c. When docked on L/XL ship and fly through asteroids, pressing F2 perspective, wheeled as far as you can, so the large ship won't collision with asteroids.

Current v1.85:

1. Add both playership and target object (when choose a target) digital speed bar.
v1.85 Optimizing speed bar display logic, won't show player's speed if it's Zero, and target speed only appear selected a ship as target


2. Adjust all humanoid ship's acceleration to a normal range (3G-12G), and boost acceleration to a tolerable range (<20G). [G: gravitational acceleration]

3. Increase ship's max speed (about x2~x5 times original).

4. Increase boost speed, reduce boost acceleration.

5. Add Cargo/Miner ship a different boost data.
ONLY effective new ships, Existing ships will use Military booster

6. Add different boost data for player's 3 different engine.
ONLY effective after Upgrade/De-upgrade engines, or will use balance engine booster

7. Increase playership's boost time x2.5 longer.

8. Adjust missile speed/liftime/range to match the ship speed adjust, and make missiles more useful than original.

9. Adjust Titurel's engine with right speed which is 70m/s, so you wouldn't need additional fix mod.

Doh! Oh... and one last thing (hopefully (grin)): I use the Trapazium CockPit... does this MOD display better on another specific cockpit???

...also.... is it possible to move the display on this MOD. I don't know if this is occurring on anyone elses... but on mine it blocks the Menu when you hit ENTER.

Is there a MOD that displays the Speed only? Doesn't change anything in game... speed, engines, etc.... just displays your current speed? It's always bothered me that I don't know how fast I'm going; and when I upgrade my engines I really can't tell if I'm going any faster.

Something I noticed is that the beeping coincides with each update of the m/s digital display. Each time the digital display updates the speed, the sound beeps. Because the display updates the speed several times per second, it sounds continuous. Hopefully this helps you with a fix.

@Toj Karin - Can you please let me know what you did to fix this? This beeping sound is driving me insane, and I need to remove the mod until I can fix this. The beeping sound will play constantly while I'm moving, and it will also play if i target any other ship that moves as well.

Well, I somewhat succeeded in it my self. With zero understanding of the code, I tried to prevent the text showing by changing the relevant IF conditions such that they are never true. The texts did not disappear but the beeping sound stopped. But as I said "somewhat", there is now a small side effect where the position of the text changed to the bottom middle of the screen. Not a big problem and I can live with that.

If you think it would help fixing this, I can share my solution?

@Toj Karin This issue was reported before, and i can't reappear the beep soud on my game(which i've finally learned the beep for Maxim Rozov's email), And this is not happen to everyone, where wired problem

Awesome mod and seems to be still working. But there's one immensely annoying problem which renders this almost un-usable. When ever I'm moving, there's constant beeping sound, propably coming from the text message showing the speed. Could you update this to either mute, or remove the text message(assuming that is the problem)?

So, what we do now with the Podkletnov Devices (inertial dampeners)?

Mod is pretty awesom, but capital ship's flying 240m\s and bumping all around is very annoyng. Same with "M" trade ships, they bump station's all time. Are you still support this mod?
