F.A.Q.
- Q: Is this mod multiplayer compatable? A: Yes. This mod is just cosmetic.
- Q: How do I use this mod? A: Just click the green subscribe button, wait for it to download, launch the game and make sure the mod is enabled in the in-game mod manager and isn't being overwritten by any other water mods you're using (higher mods supersede lower mods if they change the same files). No settings need to be changed for this to work (but make sure "Render 3D Water" is ticked).
- Q: Do this require any DLC? A: No. Some assets from DLC are changed but nothing bad will happen if they're left unused.
- Q: May I use/edit something from this mod and include it in my mod? A: With credit yes sure thing.
- Q: Please could you remove/change [____] or make another mod with [____] made slightly different? A: If you don't like one of the textures open up the mod folder from the mod manager and rename the texture you don't like e.g. g_bch_00_COLOR.png -> notforme_g_bch_00_COLOR.png and then it won't be recognised by the game (then restart the game). If you just want something lighter/darker then simply edit and save the png picture file and see the result after reloading a save or reloading a scenario in the editor (no game-restart needed).

Would it be possible to commission the author to recreate this mod for Stronghold HD/Stronghold Crusader HD?

Yeah I've been making a better updated version for DE with the new water rendering just some things need finishing before I upload. Lighter and more saturated and looks more well rounded.

if not Will you ever make them available to it?

It looks realistic indeed, but looks realistic for inland shallow rocky basins... that's a very specific choice for a texture that's supposed to represent ocean everywhere. Very good work, I just question the source material being used. Thanks

New version being worked on btw. New mangrove. Better transition between Azure and shallow.

The rocks will be in the slp folder. I can't check which file at the moment I don't have the slp reader installed.
