Imperial Taxes and Technology.

Description
Sick and tired of seeing your peasants not giving the Empire it's just dues? Feel that no matter how big and powerful your State is, research is taking forever?
Then this is the mod for you.

This mod adds 4 new edicts to the empire to either turn your provinces into fast growing hubs of humanity, or crush the life out of them by helping them get rid of their excess money for nobler purposes like having extra armies.

>lowered taxation: -25% taxes, +50 growth
>regular taxation: +25 growth, -2 PO
>high taxation: +25% taxes -5 PO
>heavy taxation: +50% taxes, -10 PO, -40 Growth.

Upgrading your cities also makes them powerhouses of research for the empire. The more Cities and City states you have, the faster you will be able to clear out the damn techtree. Researching has never been simpler! Even Orcs can do it!

TIer 4 City: 5% research speed increase
Tier 5 City: 10% research speed increase

Bugs:Due to the way CA has designed the UI, you can't see your old edicts fully. Rather, they have been pushed to the side. You can hover over them and select them if you want to use them instead of the one this mod adds.

Compatibility. Should be just about compatible with anything. Let me know if you have any issues and I should get right on it. I personally use the level 4 cities for minor provinces mod to get my research into overdrive.
