Hi there how did you port your gtao character? Also I assume it was from on pc, know of any way to do it from ps5?

OpenIV is just base models, ninjaripper would get the actual face as is in game.
In the files you'll see models labelled from like head_000 to head_045 or something similar. Each head is a base head, and the game itself will morph heads together to create a new head for your character, none of it is saved to a tangible model other than when you see it in the game

Thanks for the reply! Does OpenIV record your saved character's model and face stuff or does it just hold the generic info for it?

You can use openiv, or the newer codewalker (I havent used it)
Ninjaripper is a faster way to do it though. OpenIV can export files in openformats, which can then be imported into 3ds max or blender if there is a plugin for it. I have no idea about codewalker, but I've heard its better, more supported, and more recently updated
Once its all imported to your modeling program, you can follow any source engine rigging tutorial, but if youre doing it for gmod, search specifically for either Half life 2 or Gmod tutorials

How did you port this character to gmod? Is there a way to get the character models straight from the game files or do I need ninjaripper?

@Coltr1 The files are in
x64v.rpf/models/cdimages/streampeds_mp.rpf and then you do either mp_m_freemode_01 (Male online character) or mp_f_freemode_01 (Female online character)

@SPACECATGAM3R I have the OpenIV program, my trouble right now is locating the right files to port
