Weighted Cargo Cubes

Description
What this Mod Adds
Variants of all Cargo Containers weighing the equivalent of being completely full of Steel Plates
(also includes a few weight components* for additional testing)

Um. Why?
Testing the Carrying Capacity of Ships before you make a potentially deadly design.
Do you remember off the top of your head how many steel plates go in a medium cargo?
What about in X3 inventory? Or X10? And more importantly, do you want to spawn in and move that many plates?
Weighted Cargo Cubes act full on any inventory setting.
This also allows you to test in a Survival world using Space Master.

This Mod will not break a Survival World.
(only your inadequately designed ships)
*The Components used are not craftable in survival, and are required to place the block. If the Cargo Weight Components do get into Survival, they are (a) extremely hard to carry, and (b) useless. So no worries!

About the Blocks
Uses default textures, models, ect.
Variants include all of the Cargo blocks
(i.e. Large grid Large Container, Small grid Large Container....... Small Grid Small Container)

Reasons for Creation
I made a hydrogen ship in survival. I wanted to be able to fly a mobile base from planet to planet. Did I have enough power to lift off? Yes. Did I have enough to lift off with my cargo full? Barely. Then I tried to land. BOOM!!!
Then I opened a new survival world (using Space Master to design more hydrogen power and see that the tanks would last more than two seconds). It was going to take forever to shift components into the containers to test the load. I used a dropper to try to shift in 140,000 plates. Max of 6,000. BOOM (again!) Thus spawned need for a mod to simply place a container that weighs FULL, and let the explosions be my ships crashing, not the agonizing process of setting the test up.

Rights, Reservations, and Royalties.
Do whatever you want with these! Mainly for practical testing anyways. Feel free to modify, poke around in the files to see how it was done, use as inspiration, ect. Any questions, ask!

They provide a small bit of power using one Power Cell (instead of needing a reactor to just work a light, or a connector).

Huh, that's actually really interesting! I remember seeing mods where thrust would apply rotational force, but I never actually thought about the need for counterweights. It's crazy the problem/solution cycles you can get in this game, especially with a little push from mods.

No I just use these as counterweights in-game as a means to balance vehicles. When running realistic thrust and other physics-mods that affect the balance of vehicles, you have to make them balanced so that they don't fall over and so. This is useful as a "super heavy block" to use as counterweights if they are heavier on one part.

I have realised I can use gyroscopes for my land vehicles to prevent them from falling over. I tend to forget they do that too.

It's been a long time since I made this, so I had to double check, but you don't want to use the Weighted Cargo Crates in your final build.

- You can either remove the Cargo Crates and replace them with normal crates when you are done testing your ship.

- Or, you can open the item/components menu [default SHIFT-F10] and place the Cargo Weight Components into the containers.

For small ships, it's easy to just grab an excess of steel plates, but for large ships it can be tedious to move over enough steel plates to fill a cargo container, especially on X3 or X10 inventory sizes.
For reference, there are three cargo weights, sized Large, Medium, and Small. When I made this mod I should have named these better!

-Cargo Weight Component Small = Small Ship - Small Container. Use 27 for a Small Ship Medium Container

-Cargo Weight Component Medium = Small Ship - Large Container OR Large Ship - Small Container

-Large Cargo Weight Component = Large Ship - Large Container

Kind of wish I could put actual cargo in them. Trying to build a small buggy in SE is always a pain because they're always top-heavy and fall over. This helps solve that but I wish I could use them for storage too.

Tested on Stable Branch: the blocks are on the "All Blocks" G-menu tab and can be found when using the Text field. I will look into why they are not appearing in their own menu as they should!

Very smart! It's such a hassle to load up a ship to test it. Thanks man!
