M-45 Polaris Star Cruiser 2.0 (NO MODS)

Description
NEW: UPDATED TO 2.0

Flipped all the LCD screens that were left upside-down since the game updated, re-designed the bridge using small block and added details to various other rooms!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The M-45 Polaris star-cruiser is a long range multi-role ship, built with a modular cargo spar capable of holding 130 large containers, hydrogen tanks or any combination of similar sized equipment, in addition to significant internal pressurised space in four holds. With a 1500km jump range, it is a common sight among fringe colonies with the infrastructure to both support and necessitate ships of this size.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Polaris comes with 6 pressurised decks built around two reactor towers providing 1200 MW when at full power. 4 decks with multi-use rooms occupy the forward section, which is connected to the main spire via three separate pressurized corridors.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The stock model comes equipped with dual refineries and standard manufacturing equipment for ore processing over long flights. Some models are dedicated processing platforms, functioning as stations as much as ships for large scale mining operations.

Length: 285m
Height: 120m
Mass: 12.9m Kg
Crew: 6
Jump Range: 1545km

Survival ready!
If you want a detailed big ship for a diorama, a roleplay, a mission, a derelict to explore (this thing looks great with a few holes blasted in it!) or another heavy cargo ship for your fleet, then the Polaris is the ship for you! I try to make the interiors as fun and functional as the rest of the ship.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wanted to make an “ambient” spaceship, with long corridors and dark maintenance shafts interwoven with bulkheads and support struts. I’m a big fan of space horror, and this ship reflects some of the spooky industrial haunted bulk that makes the genre so fun. I’ve always loved the look of the Nebulon-B frigate, and I wondered if it could look just as beautiful flipped upside-down and reversed.

Mod free and totally vanilla as always!

Big thanks to the makers of all the workshop scripts (Phil, Whip and MMaster) for the scripts! used for the screen displays!

Best enjoyed with cenda's Total Dark lighting mod!

I really appreciate you using a lighting drone for shooting these images. Too many workshop uploads are dark images.

Finally got around to exploring this monster. I had my usual troubles with getting lost, but it was fun to discover its many secrets. And I absolutely love the bridge. Having left and right piloting lobes makes much more sense than a single forward window for ungainly giant craft. I hope you'll use this bridge configuration again in other creations.

I only just downloaded this blueprint and I can't wait to take a look inside for myself, but I have to say... of all the capital ships I've come across, this one seems like one of the more realistic feeling ones out there. IMHO this looks like what a cruiser should look like. Great job!

This ship is a work of art :)
