The Free Citizens' Republic Army's AV-6 Skirmisher is an atmospheric-only close air support VTOL. Widely deployed with H-64 Commanches as gunships to provide cover for Army and Marine troops.

Because it is an atmospheric craft, it depends entirely on Apaches, Hurons or Navajoes for off-world travel.

The Skirmisher is a low-cost solution for AO air support and attack roles and is the backbone of many of the FCR Army's Light Air Calvary units. It shares the same role as attack helicopters of old Earth.
