Description
The year is 2212. Tension is once again building up in the Border worlds. The young and proud Free Citizens' Republic, who won its independence in 2176 from the Earth, has been quietly rebuilding.

Peace has always been uneasy and even with the Naval Treaties of March 2178 to limit military build ups, all former belligerents know that war is inevitable. Skirmishes with deniable assets has been taken place for years in the Demilitarized Zone. The Terran Consortium dreams of a united humanity and restoring the prestige of the Allied Earth Council.

In 2200, a new cluster of habitable worlds has been found, known as the Traverse, and with it, a new nomadic alien intelligence, the Vorat. Similar in terms of technological capabilities as the human factions, they have been aggresively raiding human settlements throughout the Border Worlds and the Traverse in an effort to discourage human settlement in what they perceive to be their space.

The race is on to take the Traverse. For the people of the Border Worlds, they know that the price of freedom, is eternal vigilance.
