Some easter eggs related to the movies 1/2/remake included
Collectable pages of the Necronomicon

Takes around 1:30 hours to complete
No stacking or med kits, so you'll need to do a good job cleaning up the mess.

Fun but short map. Likely even more fun if you've watched the Evil Dead movies.

100% Completed.

Special Collectible Obtained: 3 papers (the 4th one turned into blank paper after taken back to office.)

Also, the tentacle in the forest and the mirror texture are both missing. Not sure why, but I do remember when using Editor to open the map, it mentioned "Unable to find textures" or something.

Love this map! It was so much fun. You did an amazing job making it look like its from the Evil Dead series. I laughed when I saw the car and the head in the shed. Great work!! Thank you!

coolgirlkip i honestly think its both what you said and the fact that horror games tend to be sub-par (at least in my experience) because so many of them are just... baby devs. they're often the first games a person makes and honestly like building blocks because horror doesn't necessarily NEED story to function. the point of a horror game is to make you scared or at least uneasy, not necessarily to tell a story or have a plot, so you can get by with nothing but gameplay mechanics, which makes it the perfect type of game to learn how to actually make a game with. which i think is wonderful and fascinating, but also disappointing when i go looking for a good scare and end up with essentially the spooky video game equivalent of a 5 year old's crayon drawing they made in the art time in kindergarten lol

geez why this kind of workshopped horror maps for harmless simulator games must be scarier than actual horror games ;-; ? Well...todays horrors are too detailed so they're not so spooky :P

First thank you very much, aways makes me happy to know you're enjoying the maps. I must admit once I'd finished the bridge I sat back and enjoyed it a bit.
Secondly 1)I didn't know about, I know exactly what the problem is, at one point when I was making this everything flew upto the basement ceiling. My last update moved the cellar door a small fraction and I've obviously forgot to align the terrain to mach, thus causing the bug.
2) I may look at some sort of disposal method out in the woods, I agree there is a lot of footfall back and forth.

Loved this map! Evil Dead is one of my favorite horror movies and I think this map is amazing!
But like all great maps, there were just a couple of things I think could be improved
1. There is a glitch when carrying a bucket down the stairs. The bucket becomes attached to the floor of the first floor as you walk downstairs. This has only happened a few times but was still quite frustrating as i had to keep going back and forth.
2. I think this is just me, but could you add a shredder into the woods? I find it quite difficult to keep going back and forth out of the forest to put garbage etc into it and found be helpful if there was one in the forest.
Other than that, I think this is one of the best VCD Maps out there! I loved how you added the bridge into the map and the pages of the Necronomicon in the cellar and how you added Linda's head into the shed too! :)
