from there on it scales by around +1.2 per level, where vanilla scales by adding 0.5 per level. I can't really recommend this mod alone for people who are using armor augments or have other ways (like tech) to increase their damage further, as endgame becomes a little too easy if you specialize into damage. With the author's permission I'll release my own version of the mod with toned down damage and differently scaled progression, to make early game still frantic, and keeping monster damage always at your level, but with increased health values the further up in tiers you go.
Also snipers and shotgunners are so terrifying now
Not currently. I no longer have the files I was using to calculate D+ and I don't remember what the variables originally were. I'm working on a new version of D+, called Difficulty Overhaul, which should be released soon. If Starbound would stop fighting me, it would be more modular than D+ or NE.
