- Enchanting table with strongbox
- Chests, lockboxes, satchels, and more containers provide plenty of storage at each area for organizing your loot
- Shrines to each of the Divines

- A secret door to a theif den for stashing your stolen pretties

... and much more, with plenty of hidden secrets. You can find them on your own, or donate $5 or more and I'll email you my list of hidden goodies. http://jamiesfoley.com/darkwoodretreat/

The retreat is located in Falkreath Hold, just north of Pinewatch. It comes with a map marker and fast travel once discovered. The screenshot above shows where to find it on the map.

Your wife or husband can live here! Just grab the "Spouses Can Live Everywhere" mod at the Skyrim Nexus: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11370 Your spouse will love the large dining room and cooking spit for making you all of those tasty homecooked meals.

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, Darkwood Retreat is incompatible with the Hearthfire DLC because they use the same location in Falkreath. I built the Retreat months before Hearthfire was released, and was very unlucky with the place I chose to build it. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Please let me know what you think by rating and commenting. Enjoy the retreat!

I decided to get back into Skyrim recently and I remember being so fond of this wonderful home mod for the game! Thanks for taking the time to put it together! I tried Special Edition and even though it was excellent I had to come back to the original for the sheer number of mods. Maybe I'll go back to Special Edition later.

@Oswin Unfortunately the developers altered the landscape for Hearthfire. If you have the mod enabled, even if you don't build on the Falkreath location, the land will look strange (but Darkwood Retreat will still technically work, just look ugly).

But if you disable the Hearthfire mod, the landscape will revert to what it is in the original game, and everything will look as it's supposed to. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Wait this is on the land you can buy and build on? if I didn't buy the land would it then work with no issue?
