[LW]Tier III Grenades

Description
IT'S TIME TO BLOW !@#$ UP!!

Vanilla version.
WoTC version.

Summary
Adds a third tier to grenades, upgrading all Bombs to more powerful Warheads.

Additional Information
To upgrade to Tier 3, you must complete the Nuclear Warfare Proving Grounds Project.

Useful Information
  • All grenade stats are displayed in the pictures above.
  • Smoke Warhead gives 30 defense instead of the Smoke Grenade/Bomb's 20 defense.
  • Warhead's Damage, Range, Radius, Burn and Acid Burn damage are all superior from the Bombs.
  • All numbers can be changed to your liking in the INI files.

Long War 2 Stuff
Of course, credit to Pavonis Interactive for making their gorgeous LW2 mod.
  • All Warheads have been Longwartworified.
  • Can only build Warheads once you complete the equivalent Proving Ground project.
  • Meaning the Acid Warhead requires the Acid Warhead Project before it can be built.

I have encountered a bug of resurrected enemies like Psi-Zombies and Andromedon Shells being immune to all AoE attacks after they were previously killed by Tier 3 grenades specced with Needle Grenades perk.

Not sure if it's Long War 2 bug or a weird interaction between this mod and LW2 causes this bug to happen.

Make sure to removed Mechanized Warfare as prereq. some people like doing the Lost Tower mission, and that avoids that tech being researched period, which means they'll never get access to these

@Radryl: because Proximity mines are already ridiculously devastating with needing an upgrade. you can fire multiple of them while concealed, remember, and then combo them with another grenade, or another AoE ability like Saturation Fire or Void Rift, and feasibly wholesale slaughter three goodsized LW pods in a single turn.

making them cost a sectopod to make is actually fair, given the sheer destructive utility of the things.
