Read And Learn Speechcraft / Speech

Description
DESCRIPTION
============
Reading books now increase speech skill
UPDATE
=======
Version 1.1 makes Speech increases by certain percentage instead whole level

WHY
====
Having speech skill ingame should be affected by the player if he read books i.e. person who reads more have better vocabulary and knowledge base for conversation. The only true leveling of speech is trough sales as there is not enough Persuade/Bribe options in game. Besides it is obvious that more literate people have better speech skills.

IDEA
====
At first, idea was to make all books increase speech skill by 20%-30% of the speech level. Since level progression demands are bigger with every skill level, different formula is applied. This results that every skill level requires more books towards level progression.
Since sometimes, we do not read book properly first time, second reading of the book gives another fixed amount, at first it is circa 15% when games starts, but as player progress it makes lesser impact on level progress. For the record, it is circa 5% on skill level 30.
Third and every reading after gives nothing towards speech level progression.

AFFECTED BOOKS
===============
All books that have no skill increase (or script) mady by Bethesda and one of the following conditions:
Book is history lesson
Book is a story
Book is a poem
Book is a tale
Added to this list some scientific research books

Omitted books
=============
Notes
Tutorials
Journals
Blank books

RECOMMENDATION

LAST WORDS
===========
It SHOULD work on Skyrim pre-Dawnguard version - haven't tested this, I play it with Dawnguard.
I tried so hard to exclude tutorial books, guides and descriptive books. If I messed up some, please let me know.
This file is also available on Skyrim Nexus

Great mod, but when you read a book the second time, "your" is spelled "yourr."

Maybe 20 books are not enough, but I haven't experienced any change of my speechcraft skill =/.... I think, it's outdated, huh?

i love playing as a "scholar" a mage with good speach and reads all the time, this mod makes scholars more common, or, at least, easier to do. i use one of the redesigned speech perks, the one that allows yields, and it is really helpful

This mod is without a doubt awesome. Combined with a better perktree for speech (I got Perky), speech becomes much more something worth investing in. The mod adds to the realism of Skyrim and it makes it interesting buying and actually reading books.

Hmm.. well unsubscribing was the only thing I'd done (no changes with other mods). I just resubscribed and loaded an older save, which got my skills back) and left the mod on after that

As a side note, I have both Dawnguard & Hearthfire and have no problems with this mod. Also,if you use the Skyrim UI, you can easily tell read/unread books.
