Sarl Encampment - Norscan minor settlement

Description
As soon as Terry got announced, we're suddenly able to implement battles for all those small settlements scattered accross the Old World! There's a lot of other amazing settlement maps for the different factions, so I figured to make this contribution to our friends in the bitter north.


This map is intended to represent a small Norscan encampment or village, situated in the Sarl Encampment settlement on the map. The encampment is located on top of an elevated platform as a minor defensive position. There is one main ramp leading up to the camp, as well as two smaller ramps on the flanks.

The settlement itself is designed fairly tight to give it a chaotic feel, while still being open enough to allow manouvering inside. The surrounding landscape is mainly open, with some minor cover provided from trees and rock formations.

Recommended amount of players is 1v1 or 2v2.


I'll gladly take any constructive critizism or suggestions!

@Verrik I think that the community should pitch together and create an expansive overhaul with campaign maps, adding maps for minor un-walled settlements, bridge battles and other ichonic places! I've been looking around a bit but can't find any such project. Maybe that's what you meant you found?

Nice! Best way to approach it might be to contact someone with a mod pack already up and add yours to that. I saw one but can't remember the author's name.

Currently not connected to the campaign map, only for custom/multi battles. But it might be in a future update when I've figured out the best way to approach it!
