Karak Bhufdar - minor dawi hold

Hi there!

Welcome to my experiment, creating a dwarfen hold for a minor settlement!
I know, that every hold is a strong fortress on its own. But game play wise a minor settlement should be easier to take then a walled city. So .... how to achieve that in a kind of lore friendly way with a dwarfen hold?

After hours of planning and some try and error attempts, i started to split the hold in two sections. An outer part, that’s more open and hard to defend, but offers many kill zones for the defenders. And an inner part of the hold, that is hard to take but without escape routes.
So once the defenders are pushed back, they are trapped there, making their final stand.
This mod does not add this map to the campain map!

Keep in mind that it is currently not possible to add multiple mods to your game that all add maps, because they overwrite the same file. To compensate this, there are modders that plan to make collections of maps in one mod. And i would be glad if my maps find their way into these map packs.

i get a crash in gccm with this map. do i need to install this instead?

Just a heads up but in multiplayer head to head reinforcements could not enter this map in particular. I don't know if this is a problem with the GCCM mod or this map.

Fantabulous map man! It's so much better fighting with or against Dwarves in their actual hold

I played it and it is amazing. The only slight concern i have is that the last big choke point might be a little bit to abusable since you can easily defend everything in the big room with 2-3 Melee units, while the artillery and ranged units tear the enemy force appart and the enemy cant do anything about it because he has to work through that tunnel*ish area.

Anyways really good work and the color pallett of the map works, unlike on some other underground battles i've seen, really well.Keep it up boy/girl/apache attackhelicopter and i hope we'll see some more Minor Karak,Karag and Barak defences in the future from you!
