So yes you can do that easily enough, though it might not have the effect you want due to the large oamount of other variables that go into lighting the scene
I was thinking... do you know if it's possible to set the time of day for custom battles? I mean, the sun's position. I would like to set it to be "mid day" (sun always right over the center of the battlefield). Can it be done via editing of that same 'weather' line?

I can write a tool, would be an online thing as i only know web programming php/javascript mainly, that could import and make the environment files easier to read and visualize, and export a changed .environment or .pack file
The actual files are weather conditions for different regions, I dont know if custom maps come with their own weather as i havent used terry, but i'd be surprised if they did.
