Long War 2: Tactical Co-Op

Description
We have now moved to ARK: Survival Evolved, and you can check us out at www.tribeofgods.com

Status: Alpha

Two player tactical Co-Op for Long War 2. Please note that Long War 2 MUST be installed first before downloading this mod. All the instructions on how to play Co-Op are here:

Updates:
First Tactical Co-Op build for Long War 2! Does not work with Ironman because of the save system. Both players must be in a saved game when inviting. If you still have issues, use a clean save.

Bugs:
The VIP missions currently do not let you interact with the VIP.

I invite a friend and then I am waiting for the message to close after inviting but nothing happens. Tried with long war 2 and long war 2 co op installed. If it works how did anybody make it work?

i doubt they'd be interested in that. Might as well just use parsec at that point. Tried everything except inviting from squad select (vs infiltration screen). Xcom 3 needs this feature at release. Thought the xcom 2 mod community would have handled something like this given how long its been out, but maybe the next installment will have a bigger following if the devs fail at it.

You can always just share your screen on discord or "cross play" through steam and pretend to play coop that way I suppose?

damn it seems like you're right. i get a 'mismatch game version' whenever i try to invite someone. Even on a fresh save with just this and long war installed on both our ends. What a shame

@Jet; this mod doesn't work and never did.
Base with long war or not, never worked.
the only time I got it to connect and "run"; it constantly kept de-syncing and was completely unplayable.

so only base game + long war is fine. Ok. As long as its stable and fun I can save coop for the base and DLC for solo play.

The answer was no.
