Stick Tools

Description
This is another super-basic mod that allows you to use sturdy sticks in place of tree branches in stone tool construction. Because why couldn't you?
It is literally only one file, StickTools which goes into the scripts folder.
Because it's so basic, it shouldn't conflict with any other mods. If there is a conflict, please verify that there are no mods with remove or change the Stone Axe, Stone Hammer, Wooden Spear, or Sturdy Stick.
If there does seem to be a conflict, please let me know so I can look into it. Thanks!

EDIT 2019-01-19:
Mod is confirmed to work in the current stable build (40.43). However, because of the version update, you may have to resubscribe & reenable the mod.

Updated the mod for B41+, to use the new ID for the Wooden Spear.

Please Mr. Paladin, update this to work with build41. it makes no sense indeed to not being able to craft a handle for a stone axe...
Satuis Aburda 10 Jan, 2022 @ 12:03am
Alright, so in build41 this creates the "wooden spear" from build40. Which is completely incompatible with most recipes for the "crafted spear" from build41.
The wooden spear also has higher durability, and 1 plank sawed into 8 sturdy sticks can make a "wooden spear" each sturdy stick compared to 1 plank making 1 "crafted spear".

it seems to work fine in build 41, can you update for the new stone knife? and like vanilla recipes let dirty rags be used?

Will this have a build 41 update? If needed?

@Ephora

Correct; it provides other ways to make them, but doesn't modify the tools themselves (damage, durability, etc.) in any way.

So this is just an extra recipe for the vanilla stone tools, it doesn't make them sturdier or anything right?

Just wanted to mentioned it ^_^

As per the first two comments, it most assuredly is; I'm no artist, and the mod required an image to upload, so I googled "Stone axe" and that's what I got. :p

@Vash(88)
I confirmed today that it does; sometimes, when updating to a new version, the mods become deactivated, but if you disable and reenable them, they should work just fine.
