The wooden spear also has higher durability, and 1 plank sawed into 8 sturdy sticks can make a "wooden spear" each sturdy stick compared to 1 plank making 1 "crafted spear".
Correct; it provides other ways to make them, but doesn't modify the tools themselves (damage, durability, etc.) in any way.
Just wanted to mentioned it ^_^
As per the first two comments, it most assuredly is; I'm no artist, and the mod required an image to upload, so I googled "Stone axe" and that's what I got. :p
@Vash(88)
I confirmed today that it does; sometimes, when updating to a new version, the mods become deactivated, but if you disable and reenable them, they should work just fine.
No worries! I don't mind leaving the comments here; maybe someone else will be having your same problem, and it can help them (and me!) find a solution! I really appreciate how willing you are to work with me. :) I hope your mods start working soon! I know that can be very frustrating. :/

An interesting idea, but outside of the scope of this mod, I think; speaking from a survivalist perspective, the issue with a bunch of small twigs is twofold: 1) A bunch of small twigs can break in stages, each twig snapping in turn, making the overall tool weaker than one made with a single piece of wood. 2) It would require twine, string, or some sort of cordage to bind them together. Tough I suppose the same could be said of branch or stick tools, too. Hm. I will have to consider this second portion. Thank you for the suggestion!

Could you elaborate? What do you mean by "DON'T WORK!...!"? Does it throw an error when you attempt to make e.g. an axe from sticks and a chipped rock? Does the game crash? Does the recepie fail to appear entirely?
Do you have any other mods installed? Do any of those remove or change the name of Stone Axe, Stone Hammer, Wooden Spear, or Sturdy Stick?
I would like to solve whatever issue you are having, and I appreciate you informing me of a problem so I can make this mod as good as it can be. :)
