DESCRIPTION

This mod adds three new perks to the smithing tree.

*Soul Gem Smithing - This perk does exactly what you'd imagine it does. It allows for the creation and transmutation of soul gems between types. It also allows for the refusing of fragments into a petty gem. It also allows for gems to be broken down into multiple smaller gems.

* Spell Scribe - This perk allows you to break down some common spell tomes into scrolls (in case you need a spell and have no magicka left). This perk also allows you to write your own scrolls if you already know the spell.

Right now it only works with the following spells:
- Fireball
- SoulTrap
- Magelight
- Invisibility
- Fast Heal
- Bound Bow
- Bound Battleaxe
- Bound Sword
- Lesser Unlock (new spell that unlocks novice and apprentice level locks.)
- Greater Unlock (new spell that unlocks novice, apprentice, adept, and expert level locks.)
- Grand Unlock (new spell that unlocks any lock that doesn't require a key.)
- Bound Pickaxe (new spell that conjures up a pickaxe for those mages who don't want to carry one.)
- More vanilla and custom spells are planned in the near future.

* Staff Crafting - This perk lets the user create several different staves out of fairly common ingredients and an unenchanted staff template.


* This mod also introduces two new spells that aren't entirely confined to a scroll:
- Bound Pickaxe - This spell conjures forth a magical pickaxe which has no weight. The effect lasts for 1 minute.
- Magical Ore Mining - This spell allows the mage to magical separate ore from the surrounding rocks.
