is the black soul gem supposed to be uncraftable, or did something go wrong during my download?

Okay - the staff options are limited - BUT THEY DO WORK ... but also, if like me you have the Smithing Mod that creates EMPTY Staff's ... they WILL NOT WORK ... you MUST use this mods Staff menu creation options.

Everything else works just as the above discription states ... :)

Okay - just trying to make sure I understand ... THey are empty and you go to the Enchanting Table or what to "power the up" w/a certain Enchantment?

You need to create an empty staff in order to create a powered one. So there are staves that don't do anything, but they're meant to be "blanks" for the powerful staves.

Wait - Bretton, R U saying they are just "empty" staffs and can do nothing w/them? o..O Because that is what I am NOT looking for - Empty Staff Creation - ?? I can find plenty of mods that do that.

what's the point of the staves if they don't do anything

Include smashing petty soul gems into "worthless'" soul fragments!

do that however you like

its a waste of time looking for fragments and its not found as chest loot or personal items loot on the vanquished

fragments are actually valuable

I just took the idea of a mining spell from Gus's mod, it's not meant to include his mod entirely.

A quick question - Gus has updated his 'Magical Mining Mod' are you going to add this updated version to your mod?

Ahh finally... Thank you for the bound pickaxe.. Have asked and seen many others ask for a pickaxe......Any chance on getting a little more time on the pickaxe? or can it be re-accessed right away?? Strong work on this mod, thank you it's awesome!!

Added it in the update tonight, as well as all the requested scrolls...plus some new custom scrolls for mages that don't want to fiddle with primitive lockpicks.

I'd personally love the flavour behind smashing soulstones to bits to make more for lesser enchanting, or for leveling your enchanting skill up higher.

No, it's not possible to separate them. I didn't see a point in it really. If people want it, I can add it in easy enough, I just didn't think it was something people would want.

The recipes for the gems are as follows:
3 soul gem fragments -> 1 petty soul gem
2 petty soul gems -> 1 lesser soul gem
2 lesser soul gems -> 1 common soul gem
2 common soul gems -> 1 greater soul gem
2 greater soul gems -> 1 grand soul gem

Healing scroll was added immediately after I uploaded. I was wondering why I couldn't find a "healing scroll" and then realized it was under "fast healing scroll". So it'll definitely be in the next update, along with invisibility and the bound weapons.

Imo, Healing Scroll would be useful :)
Also, 2 questions. What are the materials needed to craft Soul Gems? PLus is it possible to 'mash' to 'lessor' ones to a common and divide a Common into 2 lessor?

Try the rune spells and the bound weapons, I don't usually carry bows and instead rely on conjuration for archery. And maybe invisibility

I'm taking suggestions on spell preferences for the Spell Scribe perk. I'd like to get out the spells that people find useful first.
