Welcome to the SHENZHEN I/O TESLA CHALLENGE PACK!

This is a pack of 24 unique specifications for SHENZHEN I/O that is designed to fill the jump in the learning curve between the training grounds of Longteng Electronics and the nightmares of Avalon City. The pack offers a gradual learning curve and challenges of very different levels of difficulty, ranging from a simple divisibility algorithm to a generator of magic squares.

The player continues to follow the path of an American engineer in Longteng before his final decision to depart to Avalon City, and is given new challenges not encountered before in the game. The story is told, as in the base game, entirely through email conversations.

The pack is a sort of tutorial that teaches people who have passed the base game what is needed for the Avalon campaign. In this pack, you will learn how to:
  • Cleverly use under-estimated instructions, such as not, nop, dst and gen
  • Use otherwise useless components, such as the MC4000X, logic gates, or the PGA33X6
  • Employ handy tricks with MCxxxx assembly, such as nested conditionals, relative address offsets, or tcp multiway jumps
  • Create helpful arithmetic algorithms, such as division, modulo, and square roots
  • Make awesome gadgets, including auto-adapting NV goggles, superhero suits, and hoverboards

In addition, the pack involves NO USE OF THE MANUAL WHATSOEVER, any supplemental data required to solve a problem is contained in the puzzle description or the related email conversation.
