The track is a little dark in some places, think you can add some spotlights to the darker turns?

Unfortunately I wouldn't know how short of remaking the entire thing from scratch. While I think I could probably do an ok job with the latter method I would have thought that there is someone out there with the know how to sort out a straight port of some kind.

It would be nice to see it happen though I'll agree.

Yeah it is a little involved, I didn't want to draw to much attention to that but it's hard to avoid lol. It's definitely possible for someone who is new to all of this to put together a coherant track though, my first attempt at modelling anything was around last October and I'd be lying if I said I knew much about Unity even now.

@shroomologist Thanks for info. I'll look into that wiki, although it sounds like track creation may be a bit more difficult then i thought from what you told me so far. If i cant put the pieces together i probb ask for help, either here or discord. Regardless thanks for the response. :steamhappy:

I have thought about doing something like this although there has been talk of the track editor being overhauled sometime soon (I've seen some demos of new features already) so I'm reluctant to put together a guide for the time being as it is likely to become redundant rather quickly. However it sounds like you might have the majority of track editor stuff down already if you can make track layouts.

If you want to add scenery what you will need to do is get ahold of some 3D CAD software (A free example being Blender, I use this), and model the scenery in that. You can export the track layout from the in game track editor to obj format which can then be imported into your CAD software allowing you to build everything around your track layout.
