Description

Powerful dreadnought that can dish out and take a lot of damage. Has carrier sections for a supercarrier configuration. While powerful, it can still be overwhelmed by FE's so use with caution. AI's will build up to three ships maximum.

//IMPORTANT PLEASE READ//
With the release of Synthetic Dawn, I finally fixed that irritating bug with the Enigmatic Power Core. However, in order to do so, I had to remove the built in compatibility with Power Stations. However, this functionality is still available as an addon. IF YOU NEVER USED POWER STATIONS YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING NEW.

//LAST UPDATE//
  • I FINALLY CAUGHT THAT STUPID BUG WITH THE ENIGMATIC STATION LIKE ACTUALLY
  • Due to the fact that flak doesn't fit in M slots (this mod was created with that in mind), I will be releasing an update within the next few days that add EVEN MORE SECTIONS that have PD slots and sacrifice a bit of firepower for self defense.
  • Also prepare for a new, better model very soon (Once I get maya autodesk working)

//COMPATIBLITY//
Adding new ship styles does not affect this ship.

Has hooks for compatibility with Advanced Computers
  • CAN WORK WITHOUT IT (but I don't reccomend it but I ain't your boss so whatever)
  • Note: Not using Advanced Computers will result in some extra combat computers that add stats but dont have behaviors. Don't use those.
Overwrites "guardian_events.txt"
Ask about compatibility for a mod and I'll get back to you/make an addon as soon as I have time

Researchable after you have battleships unlocked
Killing the automated dreadnought has a new event option to use the hulk to immediately gain Dreadnoughts as a research option with 50% completion

//STATS//
(Has extra strike craft buffs to compensate for their poor state atm)
  • Costs 20 fleet supply
  • Hull = 13000
  • Evasion = 5
  • Armor = 105
  • Max Speed = 2.5
  • Extra Shield Modifier = 75%
  • Extra Fire Rate Modifier = 50%
  • Extra Damage Modifier = 25%
  • Strike Craft Damage Modifier = 20%
  • Strike Craft Speed Modifier= 100%

//EXTRA COMPONENTS//
  • Fire Control - Gives tracking and accuracy buffs
  • Interdictor - Gives FTL slowing aura (like a station but without the magnet effect)
  • Damage Control (Requires Regenerating Hull) - Gives extra hull and hull regen
  • Integrated AI (Requires Sentient AI) - Gives accuracy, tracking, hull regen, shield regen, and fire rate

//KNOWN BUGS//
  • Bravo Section doesn't display all the slots when you are on the section selection screen. Has no impact on gameplay and is a Stellaris bug that I can't fix.

i find this dreadnought ship type a needed peice in the game i know your working on it but i like this thing desing to much

I'm waiting on NSC and was looking up additional ship types and found this gem. Have to say this looks extremely overpowered and game breaking, therefor I'll take 50.

For the 2.0 update, im overhauling the mod with a new model and making it use titan supply to stop the AI from spamming it, expect it to be out once i finish placing the gun turret locations

Awesome mod but we stopped using it because "AI's will build up to three ships maximum" is FAKE NEWS! The dumbass AIs build nothing *but* dreadnoughts at this point, leading to ridiculously inflated and deceiving fleet strength numbers, and I won't even mention how annoying it is when your federation ally AI wastes the federation fleet capacity by adding another few dozen dreadnoughts. Please fix that limit for AIs :(

problem on the right column of the ship editor
Hi, I did other tests, with nsc isb exoverhaul sps asbm, enabled
if I activate Uber, the problem lies on the combat computers, I can not select, it is frozen, so I think the problem lies here, then if I activate the patch EX-uber, it must add me mod Ex module up, which is also fixed, if I add the uber-SPS patch, I have no energy anywhere, I did not restested with patch 5 sections, but it's the same, that's it , I hope it will help you solve the problem, finally asbm seems to work all the time.

hello, I can not run "exoverhaul ship and station" on "uberdreadnought 5 section" and "ship power station" I use the patch "uber 5 section + SPS" it's ok, but if I add EXoverhaul, it cause problem, I tried several patch but unsuccessful, it causes problem on the right column of the ship designer, so what are the patch to use for these modes, "EXoverhaul SAS" (I do not know if I have to use necessarily "EX component and weapons", I do not use) Uber + 5 section + SPS + ASBM, what are the patch to use, I may be a lack or too much patch activation, is there an order of activation? silly question..
