Description
Want more sand for glass? Or more sandstone for sandstone bricks? Not really sure what to do with all that dry sand and silt? With this mod you can convert between the blocks with a little elbow greese at the workbench or time in the furnace!

Looking for a way to just to get sand from dry sand? Then you might want to try KC - Dry Sand to Sand Crafting Recipe.

What does this mod do?
This mod adds the ability to convert between loose silt, sand, dry sand, and sandstone the furnace and workbench.

@shadowwolftjc Glad you like it! I agree that it's weird nothing like this made its way into vanilla. I feel that way with a lot of stuff in this game :wat_creep:

So, uh, I'm not super actively developing more mods right now, but it's not that hard of a thing to make so I'll try to work on it when I have a free moment (which will happen eventually... I keep telling myself).

Both this and the dirt conversion mod were pretty thoughtful additions that I'm a bit surprised weren't in Vanilla Starbound.

I would like to request a mod that turns dirt into sand (if one doesn't already exist), since I believe it's also a realistic feature (and would give players earlier access to sand, and thus earlier access to glass, through drying out the dirt).

@Link117 Sand can be crafted for 2 Loose Silt at the Crafting Bench.

@Link117 I'm reasonably sure that you're talking about Loose Silt, which is already part of the mod.

no i mean the sand that spwans from a sand storm i get too much and its used for nothing i dont use fu
