So, uh, I'm not super actively developing more mods right now, but it's not that hard of a thing to make so I'll try to work on it when I have a free moment (which will happen eventually... I keep telling myself).
I would like to request a mod that turns dirt into sand (if one doesn't already exist), since I believe it's also a realistic feature (and would give players earlier access to sand, and thus earlier access to glass, through drying out the dirt).
@Bobby I'm still a bit slammed with stuff right now, but I'll make a memo to do that in December.
With a few different mods that let you break down blocks (like Resource Extractor and your 2) it's made me think I should try and work on something so all block types can be broken down into base materials. Let me know next month if you'd like help with the coding, with whatever you're doing.
As for a combined mod, I'll put it on my list. I probably won't do it until I do the Stone Conversion, though.
Stone, DireStone, MoonStone, AlienStone, SandStone, are all forms of Stone that could possibly be converted from one into another at the Furnace. Gravel&Rubble could be converted into Stone, and vice versa too!, Gravel&Rubble are useless in crafting sadly without mods...
