[IA] Viking Architecture for Independent Mod

Description
NOTICE! This is a mod for the "Independent Architecture" DAT mod. This mod does nothing for AoE2 itself. You need the "Independent Architecture" DAT mod to see an effect. Make sure this mod has a higher priority than Independent Architecture as well.

HOW TO USE :

1) Subscribe to Saint_Michaels' Independant Architecture https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=893953860&searchtext=
2) Subscribe to this mod
3) In your mod manager, put [IA] Viking Architecture for Independant Mod with highest priority, then followed by Independant Architecture mod
4) When in the lobby, in the game version selection, select Independant Architecture dataset

This mod is compatible with other graphic mods that use Independant Architecture.

CREDITS :

FEUDAL AGE => This is a mix I made by using the walls and the roofs from the Vikings Pesqueira's building (from Age of Ancient Empires) and apply them on the classic Central European set.

CASTLE AGE => The set is taken from Age of Civilizations, made by Dynasty_IV => http://aok.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/forums/display.cgi?action=st&fn=9&tn=44043&st=140
I only made the town center, the castle, the mill, and the docks myself, and slightly modify some others buildings, like towers, monastery, university, created shadows, etc ...

IMPERIAL AGE => The set use the Pequeira's Graphic Pack for Vikings. I made a few modifications to the market. I turn Pesqueira's hospital into an university after a lot of modifications, and I design the town center by ripping texture from Pesqueira's graphics.

There isn't any SLP files for fortified walls, so they remain unchanged. (Central Europe set by default)

The Independent Architecture Mod was made by Saint_Michaels.

hi guys! that is a great work but i am facing a problem. Despite the fact that the mod run properly before ten days, i set up a standard game to play in two hours ago and the architecture was the normal one. Does anybody know why? it seems that the mod is not running

Will there be a custom fortified wall? Or is the stone wall going to be the only custom wall? Also custom gates?

Oui et non, car en réalité les fichiers graphiques utilisés pour l'IA mod ont une dénomination différente que les fichiers originaux, ils sont "en plus" du jeu de base. Ce qui est logique vu que tu as plus de graphiques au final que le jeu original, donc plus de nouveaux noms de fichiers. Ca dépend de la civilisation en fait, par exemple pour les francs, tu remplaces les fichiers originaux par des nouveaux graphiques. Mais pour les espagnols, les brittaniques et les celtes qui ont la même achitecture de base que les francs, ce sont des fichiers en plus pour chacune des civilisations.

Donc de remplacer les fichiers originaux par ceux du mod c'est ca en gros ?

@孤独な狼 : Certes, mais pour l'instant on ne peut pas faire autrement. Ou alors tu a la possibilité de télécharger les différents graphiques et le mod de Saint_Michaels et de les implanter directement dans le dossier ou ton jeu est installé. Perso, c'est ce que j'ai fait pour ne pas avoir à sélectionner de mods.
