You would be able to get a lot more speed out of that, and if you run out of hydrogen you would at least have some small ion's to push you somewhere to refuel.
Now, 29m/s/s. While i do have an interceptor that can achieve that, I don't think this one could with it's size. Before I made this one i compared it with a few well known others, and it outperformed some in forward speed, others in strafing and reverse. I also had the need to go for the complete systems kit and weaponry, so I tried to reach a balance here, couldn't have both lunch and dinner for free. But I guess there's always room for improvement, specially now that dampeners doesn't have a boost anymore, so I'll take a look into that.
Thanks for the tip with the batt, I'll consider it more often. Also, I'm unaware of rangefinder, I don't really know what it is.

The Text panels are placed in a very vulnerable place, they often get shot off. They're not critical, however.
What this ship really lacks, however, is a rangefinder script, which can tell the distance to target even if it goes without an antenna. I may provide one, if you wish.
The speed and maneuvering is also on a bit slow side. Maybe I'm just accustomed to building insanely fast ships, but 16 m/s^2 forward seems pale in comparison to 29 m/s^2. The strafing thrust also feels not enough; my fighter has up/down/backwards acceleration of 10.5 m/s^2.
Speaking of small reactors, they are not mass-efficient. I recommend pairing a large reactor with one or two batteries for power output; this can cut down a ton or two.
What is stunning with this ship, however, is the design. It's just... beautiful. Nicely done!
One thing I'd add is Whip's Weapon Sequencer for rocket launchers. Without this script, you're out of rockets after 4 shots which is rather non-ideal.
