Bretonnia Unfurled: Improved Building Chains

Description
This mod streamlines the recruitment progression for Bretonnian factions by removing the nonsensical and redundant 4th and 5th tiers for Barracks and Stables. Along with some minor tweaks to recruitment requirements, you can now field a more tactically interesting army earlier.





-STABLES-
T1: Knights Errants available
T2: Knights of the Realm and Questing Knights available
T3: Pegasus Knights available
T4: Royal Hippogryph Knights and Royal Pegasus Knights available
Smithy now required for T1 to T2 units

-BARRACKS-
T3: Squires and Halberdiers available
Smithy no longer required for Men-at-arms (shields) but is now needed for Halberdiers

-WORSHIP-
T3: Grail Knights are now recruited from here
Armoury now required for T3 units

-CARPENTRY-
T1: Blessed Field Trebuchet available
Grail Chapel now required for Blessed Field Trebuchet

-FARMS-
T1: Peasant Bowmen (fire arrows) (not pictured) available








All-in-all you should be able to get out of the yeoman swamp and move on to mid-tier cav about 10 turns earlier. As a slight speed bump, all lower tier knights require a T1 smith. While there are some economic savings in not having to construct T4 Barracks and T5 Stables, it is a drop in the ocean as you still need to contend with Bretonnia's hefty recruitment/upkeep costs, many prerequisite buildings, peasant economy and knightly vows. The changes apply to the AI as well.






This is a minor, laser-guided tweak to the unit requirement tables and therefore compatible with the vast majority of mods at the Workshop (but not Steel Faith at the moment). Also save compatible!
If you are using custom Bretonnia units that are put on tier 4 barracks or tier 5 stables, you will not be able to recruit them.
