Interesting enough puzzle, but hiding the little platform you need to fling onto in the main area was lame, and I’m sure the current you would know why. The chamber’s challenging enough on its own without that part being enshrouded in darkness. Can’t help but wonder how long some people wandered around not knowing what to do when it was merely something their eyes never picked up on. Some people play this on really low contrast screens, after all.
Also, using a timed button to open a panel is seldom a good idea. Once it closes, if the player’s standing in the way they will become invariably trapped and have to reload the game.
Saw someone else mention this but I didn’t need the piston platform either.

I enjoyed the main puzzle well enough and I’ll still give it a thumbs up but the two above considerations are gonna significantly dampen my enjoyment score as I try to give a balance between personal preference and objective design quality with that rating.

Difficulty: 3.25/10
Enjoyed: 6.5/10

@ubilada: The series does indeed get less timing based (and really just better overall) after this map! This was early days of map creation for me. Adjacency 5 is the best.

This map requires more ninja skills than brainstorming. I really liked your design and want to keep playing the next maps of adjecency series. I hope they don't require as much ninja skills as the first one. Otherwise, it can be frustrating at times after you know how to solve it, but the required skils to complete the map can be discouraging actually. Other than that, a good map.

Great map. More experienced at portal now so no problem at all with the timers. If you wanted to make the map harder get rid of the piston platform, it's not essential.

My only criticism is that each timer should be one second longer. Took me a half dozen tries to barely get it. Ugh!

Beat-the-clock puzzles aren't my favorites (especially if the clock is only a few seconds!) because I'm not very good at rapid-fire mouse gymnastics. Many people do enjoy the puzzles where the demands are more physical than mental. I'm glad there are plenty of both in the community.

Super satisfying. All the numbers add up at the final move.
