Description
This spell is an amalgam of self-benefitting qualities that I found myself using a lot in the old days in Oblivion (ok, not that old but you get the point). I had made some spells that would heal my health and stamina slightly over a long period of time (since there were no regeneration effects in Oblivion), use it right before I got into a fight, and tear off on whatever Daedra, goblin, bandit, etc. I had also rejected horses and made fortify speed spells to use instead since horses die pretty easy and Shadowmere kept wandering away all the time.

I noticed that those sorts of effects are completely absent in Skyrim spells (except for enchantments and alchemy, but not everyone is an enchanter or an alchemist). Thus, I tweaked them up a bit and put them where they belong: in the Restoration school or college as the old terminology goes.

Berserk will effectively double your speed, triple your normal health regeneration, triple your stamina regeneration, and negate your magicka regeneration if you have no changes made to those values (through cheats, enchantments, potions, abilities, etc.).

The spell is moderately expensive as a master Restoration spell and DOES USE THE RITUAL ANIMATION, but I believe that I set the costs fairly. I personally have an evenly distributed level 78 with 100 Restoration and the Atronach stone, and I can easily use the spell with some to spare with no perks whatsoever. Plus, there are also Restoration cost cutting enchantments and the perks that I neglected to get, so I'm sure that many devoted mages will find the spell much easier to cast.

The spell itself can be purchased from Colette Marence, the Restoration master, at the College of Winterhold.

Notes:

A question that came to mind when I made this that I tested: If normal magicka regeneration is 100%, then 100% - 200% = -100%, so do I regenerate in reverse? The answer is no. Apparently for Skyrim, if MagickaRateMult (that's the actor value, open the console and type player.getAV MagickaRateMult and you should see 100.00 normally) is less than 0 (it actually will get set to -100.00) it is simply treated as 0 and your magicka does not regenerate.

I also tested the health regeneration (player.getAV HealthRateMult), the speed (player.getAV SpeedMult), and the stamina regeneration (player.getAV StaminaRateMult) to make sure that they are properly set as well as qualitatively assessing them by taking damage, running, and casting spells and watching the bars refill (or not in the case of magicka) to verify that the spell works as intended.

If you notice any issues, please don't hesitate to mention them, but I suggest that you check those console commands FIRST to see if they are not being set correctly as well as report the exact circumstances. This will help me troubleshoot any bugs.

One final note, Dawnguard is not required as always.

Bugs:

The only bug that I have noticed is that when the spell expires (after 60 seconds, yet I used the in-game wait function to wait two hours), the SpeedMult AV is reduced back to 100.00, but the player continues to move faster until after sprinting again for the first time. After sprinting, the speed corrects itself immediately. As far as I know, there is no way to address this, but honestly, who doesn't use the sprint key/button?

If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments, please feel free to leave them at the bottom of the page.

I also plan on using two mods together. The Bleach mask and sword mod, which gives a mask that drains health but makes you stronger. With this regerative spell and the mask make a strong combination.

I would have made it to be 400 instead, since it is a major power increase.

Sorry about that. You get it from Colette Marence in the College of Winterhold. I seem to have put it in the plug-in file summary visible in the Creation Kit, but forgot to put it on this page.

where do you get the spell

Um, toggleable? By that you mean you cast it and it is permanent until you cast it again? I suppose that I could, but that would defeat the purpose of it being a spell rather than an ability...if that is what you're getting at.

hey like the mod. one question, is there a way you could make a toggleable lesser power version of this?
