Ataraxia

Description
Ataraxia is an experimental work-in-progress... In this game, you are trying to make your alien nematode grow as much as possible within the confines of his small puddle. While doing this may seem easy, as you grow you will find that other creatures start to hinder your progress!

The game is an audio-visual experiment, with everything in the game having it's own sound effect and visual signature. As such it is remarkably relaxing and engrossing as you discover new things constantly.

UPDATE: Game has been updated! Now gamepad compatible, with better graphics, and an infinite world. I still have to add more things to do in it though as well as power ups and scoring... So this is still very much a work in progress

IMPORTANT!!! THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED USING THE EARLY ACCESS VERSION OF GMS, THEREFORE IF YOU DO NOT USE THAT VERSION TO PLAY THE GAME, IT WILL NOT WORK. SORRY!

Controls:
The game is controlled either with the mouse or with a gamepad.
In game, press the "Start" button on the gamepad to pause

only issue I have with this is not being able to see my cursor on the menu screen. Otherwise a great little time waster.

Oh and towards everyone: a neat trick is holding your left mouse button. It makes bubbles emit from where your cursor is.

As someone stated before, the game doesn't seem to work if you don't own a gamepad. In your update post it states that it is now gamepad compatible, not that it's required. Would you please fix either the game or state that a gamepad is required? Thanks for your time.

Erm.... Okay, that's weird. There should be amouse cursor! Just mouse around until the play button lights up and click... Sorry! But you can use the gamepad too. I'll update this tomorrow...
