Good upload!! OK so Bio Assault Troopers with the stun lances have had their defense lowered back to 10/15 for the mid and late game versions. The One with the Shields have had their defense lowered from 40 to 30 across the board. They no longer get full cover bonuses but get a base 10 defense and an added half cover bonus from the shield for a total of 30 defense. They also no longer grant cover to anyone else. The Grant cover effect in the base game is actually broken and when killed, the effect would stay in that tile LOL. So things like Bulwark or High Cover Generator are bugged and the Cover does not go away if the soldier or Spark that had it is killed.

fixed an issue with the Shielded Bio Assault Trooper not generating the right cover bonus to himself or his allies. Should be full cover and not half. So the Assault Trooper with the shield has a 40 defense now due to the full cover from the shield. Where as others that use him for cover (IF) they already have a defense bonus, will also be granted full cover which will just make them even harder to hit than the Assault Trooper granting the cover.


On that note... found an issue with the cover effect. It seems that the trooper using this effect, any other mods using the same high cover effect and even the Spark's Bulwark ability that uses the same effect, if killed, the effect doesnt go away LOL!!! So the tile they were killed in will still keep the effect. Am looking into a way to correct this. This is a oversight in how High Cover Generator effect is coded (Firaxis Issue). But will try to fix.

reworked some spawn weights and added a new types of Bio Assault Trooper. This second version has a shield. He can shield bash with it, has a +20 to defense to represent him always having half cover from the shield. He and his shield will grant full cover to any allies that use him for cover. Because he has half cover bonus on him at all times, he himself can not take cover on walls, cars, buildings....what have you. These Assault Troopers will work together wit the sword wielding ones to try and move close to flank.


also, Assault Troopers still keep their +2 HP regen and blast padding but no longer have stasis.

small update. Fixed some Loc file errors and lowered some late game bio troops spawn rates just a bit. As they were higher than some base game enemy advent at that force level.

quick small update. Seems i missed adding in the option for Bio Captains mid and late game to be scared of fire like most other advent. Has been changed.
