Ported over relevant changed from V1.8 of main mod

Please note that this version now includes AI stealing other artifacts and the artifact vault buildings.
Unless you were in the middle of the stealing event chain, this update should be savegame compatible.

New Features:
  • Updated to Vanilla Version 3.2.1
  • "New" and improved stealing chain. The whole chain has been rebalanced and optimized. This update mostly adds in the framework for more additional flavor events to make it less repetitive. The actual new stuff will be added in a couple of days. I didn't add them in now because it would break save games.
  • A game rule for which AI characters are allowed to steal or to turn it off entirely
  • A game rule for disabling the artifact vault buildings if you wish

Changes and Balancing
  • The artifact stealing chain has been heavily rebalanced and made more consistent. Please provide feedback
  • Vanilla wonders that have upgrades that "protect your artifacts" now apply to the difficulty of the event chain
  • Final tier of Artifact Vaults now require Fortifications 5 instead of 7
  • Reduced all effects of Artifact Vaults and made the AI smarter about building them
  • Artifact vaults will now only be active when the holding is that character's capital
  • The Treasury Guard minor title is now only available to Dukes and higher

Bugfixes and Optimization
  • Fixed bugs with the Artifact Vault buildings
  • Fixed some decision tooltips
  • Fixed AI unable to target some artifacts
  • Fixed the steal artifact decision not showing when you can attempt to try again

Taking artifacts from prisoners should now release them from prison

Ported over relevant changes from V1.5 of main mod

  • Added "Seize Artifact" targeted decision, lets you take an imprisoned character's equipped artifacts. Gives you "tyranny" with your vassals and will make the victim's dynasty hate you.
  • The "Steal Artifact" event chain is now slightly harder
  • You cannot steal from someone you have a non-aggression pact with
  • Added diplo range requirment
  • You can now also steal from the following : Religious heads, holy order grandmasters, and mercenary leaders.
  • Added the new tiered kinslayer trait boosts to events (previously only the old kinslayer trait was used)
