While this mod worked with The Last Stand update, it didn't add the Pitchfork and Shovel to all campaigns, which it now does. All melee weapons can now spawn in all campaigns.

Temporarily (?) removed this mod's effect on The Passing campaign, due to a crash relating to precaching of the Witch bride model. Thanks to "bag of pringles" for reporting the issue.

-Removed support for the Cold Stream map, since yhis mod was having conflicts with other mods I use.
-Fixed inconcistencies with description and stats, updated description and Workshop page in general.

UPDATE:
Reduced total Chainsaw fuel from 60 to 45 (vanilla is 30).

Major rewrite of the mod's description and overall presentation to be more accurate to exactly what this mod does and does not do. I apologise for any confusion this may have caused. Also updated the mod to include dramatically reduced friendly fire damage for all melee weapons, making grouped melee defense on harder difficulties more forgiving.

Fixed an issue I'd already fixed previously, fixing the invisible hands of the L4D1 Survivors when using the Chainsaw. I already fixed this issue for all the other melee weapons, but I somehow missed the same fix for the Chainsaw. Anyway, fixed! :)

BIG UPDATE: Since similar mods are incompatible, this mod now includes a melee weapon unlocker system to give all official campaigns all melee weapons (excluding the broken Riot Shield).
Also adjusted the mod name and preview image to include the new Unlocker thing for clarity's sake, and tweaked Frying Pan and Golf Club damage.

In the wake of discovering Melee Weapons can't have their swing speeds changed, I renamed the mod (and changed associated images) from the Melee Weapon Overhaul Script to the Melee Weapon Rebalance Script instead, since that's more accurate.

It's official. Editing the Melee Weapons' attack speeds is impossible, since what I believed was their attack speed variable (refire_delay) Is in fact just the time after swinging before you can swing the weapon again. I've still included the refire_delay change to 0.1 for all Melee Weapons, so it's something at least. :)
